Kisiizi Falls
Kisiizi Falls is located in Rukungiri district, along the route from Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. You can make a stop-over here as you transit between the two national parks. Kisiizi falls is formed by water plunging from the Kyabamba river down a 27m high cliff into a deep gorge. The waterfall is so powerful that the mist it produces can be felt several tens of meters away.
Tourist activities at Kisiizi falls include zip lining over the forest canopy, crossing the new suspension bridge, bird watching, and nature walks in the surrounding forest.
